QuiPtaping helps you to achieve this with the appliance of masking tape that create perfect straight and sharp painting lines.

    1. The right tape  Painting the living or Children's room. Masking the skirting boards or to design a particular design on the wall. With QuiP® it will be an easy to perform job and save you a lot of time. What tape for what job depends on the surface.

    2. Before start painting: cover the surface  VBefore you start painting itis strongly advisable to first remove dist and dirt and cover the surface. Paint and tape adhere much better when the surface is clean. There are several cleaners that enables and get the surface free form dirt and fat attack.

    3. Masking the surface  Everything that is not be intended to paint needs to be covered carefully. Lights, electrician points best can be taken off. Carpets and furniture is best to put in another room if possible. Doors, windows, skirting boards need to to be masked. For every surface and masking job there is a suitable tape.

    4. Apply the tape carefullyThe tape itself is not leaking paint. To achieve a perfect result it is important that the tape is well applied so that paint can't get under the tape. With the QuiP tape dispenser that is not a problem because of the soft rubber wheels.
    5. First paint the corners then the edges  Start painting the corners so that after painting there is no difference in coverage of the paint layer. Always start from the edges then the rest of the surface and spread the paint. When you use a paintroller then it is important that the paint needs to be evenly spreaded.
Start with with the ceiling, then paint the walls. By this the paint on the ceiling will be covered by the paint on the walls.  Both surfaces will be painted by a paintroller and use a roaster to spread the paint over the roller. Start painting at the top and from there go down.in order to prevent differences in layers of parts that already have been painted. Repeat the same after you have done the whole surface.
    .
    6. Start with the edges before Especially when you use two different colours it is useful to first paint the edges of the surface you are intended to paint. this creates sharp painting lines.

    7. Remove the masking tape at the right moment in time  Removie the tape before the paint is really dry, so carefully read how many hours it takes before the paint is dry. In general this is 3-12 hours for solvents based paints and up to 3 hours for water based paints.
Tear the tape slowly by an angle of 45- to 90-degrees from the edges. So you keep the most straight painting edges.

    8. Design tip: Accentuate coloured walls  A last tip of the professional: Even painted walls will be accentuated by white painted doors or windows. This gives a richer look and creates a greater feeling of space.
